| For all the goofiness we had in the last episode, and the kind of impression Reggie gave.. to think it took about 4/5th of this entire episode for Megumi to get done with that guy is pretty crazy in hindsight. I mean, he can’t even walk after all of this. Though yeah, that was a setup for Angel to just come and give the most on brand angelic entry possible lol. Loved that entire sequence btw. We had plenty of those this season, so makes sense they went pretty hard with this as well. Still the conclusion next week will be pretty much, “we’re going to leave you here and will be back in a few months” kind of stuff. Yuta didn’t get much to go with after the earlier episodes, so yea, next one will be his.. see how they’re hyping it though xD |

| They’ll never make me hate Megumi. That fight was dope, Riley’s cut in particular was amazing. The weird misogynistic bit at the end lost me tho. All men are wolves, but the wolves handle all the complex things for me because I’m too stupid to think for myself, like what lol. Anyway, MY GOAT YUTA BACK NEXT WEEK FINALLY. He and Maki the only reason I even watch this bullshit so I’m excited for that. |

| Not sure who directed this episode but this guy absolutely blows. Especially after the stellar previous episode. Somehow he made it more confusing than in the manga. |

| All things considered I really enjoyed Megumi vs Reggie and have a bit more respect for both of them, other than Megumi letting that one women live I would have set demon dog on her immediately. But I mean funnily enough the highlight of this episode was the last 3 minutes teasing part 1's finale. Im so hyped for Sendai I've been waiting ages for this. |

| Gojo glaze is always so funny to me for some reason, “his technique is so broken it can even rival Satoru Gojo,” or “this kid is a prodigy who is second to only, who? You guessed it. SATORU GOJO.” 💀💀💀 Next, the narrator will be like “this characters Cursed Technique is so powerful, it could literally wipe out life on Earth as we know it…..with the exception of Satoru Gojo” LOL. Megumi disposed of Reggie and now we move onto the Sendai colony. Can’t wait to see this next fight, though I’m wondering if they’ll be able to cover all of it. Next weeks finale is apparently gonna be 27 minutes so we’ll see. |

| Peak episode. No matter how much I slander Bumgumi I love this fight as one of my favorites in jjk. Megumi vs Reggie Star is one of the best fights in JJK. It's two sorcerers using everything to lie con and defeat the other. Looking at it through anime again Megumi really did outplay Reggie Star in every way. He chased the scorpian girl but in the end decided to spare her ngl mistake should've taken her points or whatever at least. Then Angel showed up like an actual angel. Takaba with a CT that can rival Satoru Gojo. Yeah that just says how fucking busted his CT is. Anything he finds funny he can make it happen. Basically, he's a reality wrapper lol. Hazenoki is a strong player with a lethal CT and has an advanced RCT able to regenerate his body parts over and over but he can't really do shit to Takaba. Then at the end finally SENDAI COLONY!!!! Probably my favorite single just battle scenes/moments in shounen. Yuta vs Sendai is just perfect, Shounen ngl. 4 way dead lock between 4 strong players and the one breaking it is Yuta Okkotsu. Poor Druv, this is his second incarnation and he had the most points but he immediately got offscreened by Yuta. Hyped for Ryu and Uro. Also another rival Gojo statement with Yuta at the end? They really love bring Gojo up lol even after he got sealed he feels like he's still part of the show with how often they mention him. Also did they change it? I swear it was second to Gojo in unusual abilities but I guess they changed to rival instead? Either way works I guess to hype up Yuta. |

| The incredible fight of wits and resilience till the end. What a fight it was. Reggie was such an incredible opponent. I loved seeing him fight, both in manga and anime. Megumi is a very smart guy, and he fooled Reggie in the end. I felt really bad for him in his dying moments. He was expecting a fair fight, but he didn't realize that it was not about winning for Megumi. It means everything to him. He's doing this for his sister. Takaba's fight is over without even doing much, and we finally know that he's so strong that he doesn't even understand himself. He can rival even Satrou. On the other hand, the Sendai colony introduction with different players was amazing. But the Yuta entrance was the greatest thing ever. AHHHHH... YUTA!!! Let's fucking GOOOO. |

| This episode was hype, but I'm even more excited for what's next It was a given that the finale for this cour would have extended runtime to adapt the upcoming fight in it's entirety. Expecting a super fast paced episode. Oh and they added another shot of Ryu and Uro to the OP. |

| Majestic episode. Outstanding fight. Splendid conclusion. Reggie, it was nice having you while it lasted, bruv. You reminded me of Konan, the only anime character who used paper as her weapon over a decade ago, and your powers were just as cool as hers. Rest in peace. Putting Reggie and Konan aside, I have a question. Are we going to get a cut in the next episode and be thrown into another colony or district, or will we be shown Megumi's condition? I really wanna see how he's doing, I'm worried about him. I'd appreciate an explanation, so thanks in advance. |
| Megumi’s fight was good, but it didn’t hit as hard as it should have. Compared to the previous episode, the impact felt a bit weaker. The animation was good and the music was decent, but something about the execution just didn’t fully land for me. But man, the whole ep on one side and the build-up and entry given to Yuta on the other side🔥 |
| I enjoyed the Megumi and Reggie fight, first time since the end of season 1 that we got to see that he's Toji's son, even his hair during their initial stand off was like the worm man's. Their fight did feel a lot slower than Yuji vs Higuruma but that makes sense considering Yuji and Megumi's characters. Yuji will punch his way out of a corner he's backed into while Megumi will think his way out. I am excited for next week because as much as I like following those 2 we haven't gotten to really see Yuta flex his power since JJK 0. Overall it was a good episode that was in line with the rest so far. |

| The fight between Megumi and Reggie became a full-on endurance test of who would break first. It was only at the end where Megumi had his one chance to strike with his shadow dog when Reggie thought Megumi had exhausted all options other than swinging his fists. While the impact of this fight here was weaker than the last episode, this was still done pretty well overall. As for Tanaka, he continues to amuse me with how crazy he is. His technique supposedly could rival Gojo, but I like the fact that he's fully unaware of his true potential. Hopefully we'll see more of him in the future. We got to see what Yuta was up to and he wasn't wasting time in taking down his opponents. The introduction to the other competitors in the Sendai colony was interesting and I'm sure one or two of them would give Yuta a good fight. Hopefully a fight like that can wrap up the first cour of this arc on a satisfying note. =) |
| Good ep Ngl, Megumi vs Reggie was somehow underwhelming. The recipe for explaining things as the characters move fast as fuck is quite annoying. I was kinda fine with it for Yuji vs Higuruma, but atp its like they want me to question the direction, despite it being good. Couldn't really see it that well in the manga, but hair down Megumi looks like pops (Toji). Megumi been utilizing them strangulation techniques fr. Ah yes, Takaba busy aurafarming as he drinks tea with no no regard to the danger around him. Fairs. Bro really a troll, but rivals Gojo. Lol. Looks like Angel is finally here. Yuta is back. This is gonna be fun, hopefully... This ep adapted ch 171-173. 9/10 |
